Undergraduate Research Assitants

Anastasia (Meixuan) Liu

Anastasia is currently a 3rd year undergraduate student at the University of Toronto. Her signature Character Strengths are: curiosity, love of learning, and creativity! Her research interests are broad, mainly encompassing studies on wisdom, positive development, positive aging, self-transcendence, motivation and more. She aspires to be a lifelong learner teacher and researcher, with a dream to aid others in leading more fulfilling lives. As such, she seeks to understand how to cultivate wisdom and if flourishing skills can be acquired later in life. She's also the current president of the student devision of the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA). She has previously served as a research assistant in 3 psychology labs, enhancing her in-depth understanding of psychological research during her undergraduate years. Anastasia enjoys exploring a esthetics in various fields. Beyond psychology, she has a fervor for Literature, Philosophy, Religion and Cultural studies. Her hobbies include GuZheng, Tai Chi, Synchronized swimming, piano, combat sports, yoga, Chinese dance, badminton, and tennis. She is a national-level synchronized swimmer!

Echo Malinowski-Cunningham

Echo Malinowski-Cunningham is a Claremont-McKenna undergraduate, with her expected graduation date as May, 2027. She is majoring in Psychology or Neuroscience and is playing soccer for the CMS Athenas. She is originally from Houston, Texas, graduating from Duchesne Academy.
